Zoya: Zuza

Zoya Zuza is a gorgeous teal blue with silver foil. This polish was a little thin at first so when I applied a thick second coat to even it out.

Zuza only lasted not even two days before it started to chip. I painted my nails on Saturday and it was already chipped by Monday. But the color is gorgeous, so it’s worth it!

I hope everyone is having a great start to their week!

Saran Wrap Mani

I used China Glaze Highlight of My Summer and OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby. Highlight of My Summer is an amazing neon mint green. The formula was a little streaky. It took three coats to be completely opaque, but it did even out quite well. It also dried pretty quickly, which was nice.

Love. Angel. Music. Baby. is from the Gwen Stefani collection and has a satin finish. I didn’t add a top coat to the nails with this on top because I liked the contrast of a glossy polish underneath and the satin finish.

The saran wrap mani is extremely easy to do! Paint your nails with whichever base coat you want and let it dry or add a fast dry top coat to speed up the process. Grab some saran wrap and cut it into smaller squares. Bunch the saran wrap up into a ball and paint the next polish you want to use on the balled up saran wrap. I normally blot a little bit onto a piece of paper then pat it on your nail. Clean up with either a q-tip or a brush. Easy as that!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

OPI: Where Did Suzi’s Man-go?

I absolutely LOVE this color! It’s a light orange creme with an amazing formula! This polish came from OPI’s Brazil Collection.

It could’ve been a one coat polish if I would’ve done a thicker first layer, but I prefer to do two thin coats. The opacity was perfect. There was do dragging whatsoever.. it went on like a dream! It’s still pretty hot here in NC (in the 90’s still), so this polish is perfect for the end of summer!

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!
